It had always been one my priorities to enable entrepreneurship opportunities for women through use of science and technology. As a member of project monitoring committee of’ Ministry of Communication & Information technology Govt of India’ funded ‘ICT based resource center’ of Sai Institute of Rural Development, Varanasi, I facilitate a project targeted at creating employment opportunities for women of minority sections of the society by training them through use of communication and information technology.

If the innovations do not reach the masses, they happen to be just history. India as country being low in Global Innovative Index, my attempt has been to pull and support innovation in this country. As a Domain Expert for Biotech Start-ups, Govt. of India, Initiative for ‘Make in India’, I have been involved in technology evaluation for grass root innovations.I am also supporting the programs like TePP Out Reach Centre cum innovation cluster (supported by DSIR, since 2006), wherein funding/ mentoring support to various grass root innovators is been provided.

In addition, I try to share my innovation and reach the masses for increasing scientific awareness through radio talks and print media.
